About appearance

Every JinGoo base is made of real wood, and to retain the original colour and durability, only a clear lacquer is applied, without any colouring agent. The unique wood grain and natural colour is therefore evident.

The Phoenix birds are all made in traditional way, hand- painted with a liquid gold film by brush. Because of large-area application and firing at high temperatures, occasional fine streaks are normal, being a by-product of firing.

About charging

No, this is not necessary. The switch at the bottom controls the battery – leaving it on allows normal recharging and discharging to occur. This switch is designed primarily to facilitate safety during transportation of the product and to minimize power consumption. Therefore ensuring that you receive a device with the battery in its best condition. In everyday normal use, it can remain turned on.
We recommend recharging for 30 minutes when the battery is low, before beginning to use the device.
We recommend using a 5V1A USB charger with safety certification, for example, a hand phone charger or simply to your computer.

It takes about 5 hours to fully charge a battery; that battery can be used in continuous playback and lighting for at least 16 hours. *(1)

*(1) As a benchmark for the Lithium battery consumption, it was tested with the volume of playback set at 70% on an iPhone 6 while the light set at the brightest level. The charging time begins when the indicator light blinks; a 5V1A charger takes about 5 hours to charge to the full capacity.

The battery indicator LED continues blinking with the orange light when the device needs recharging; the LED turns on and remains lit with the orange light as soon as the power is connected. The LED will switch off automatically when the electricity is full.

This generally happens when the battery switch at the bottom is not turned on. Make sure the switch at the bottom is turned on during recharging in order to recharge normally.
First, check that the switch at the bottom is turned on. If the orange light remains blinking, it means a low battery. Please plug in the USB to recharge.

The device incorporates a built-in lithium battery that can be used for at least 3 to 5 years. *(2)
If it is necessary to change the battery, please contact your local dealer to enable the manufacturer to perform it. To be able to provide you with an accurate offer, we will quote you the costs of both the material and labour in the battery replacement.

*(2) Lithium battery has about 500 cycles of deep discharge. It is estimated based on 8 hours of continuous use each day, with the volume of playback set at 70% on an iPhone 6 while the light is set at the brightest level).

About pairing

Turn on your Bluetooth on your device. Connect the JinGoo to your device. It works with any Apple, Android, Windows and other devices that run Bluetooth 4.0. Once connected, you will hear a bird singing. Play and listen to your favourite music on Spotify, Radio, Google Play Music, Apple Music and other music streaming apps. Or with the JinGoo App that is available on Apple devices only.
